We are recruiting a Payroll Administrator for a business that does just that.
You would be working alongside the Payroll Manager as part of a wider Finance team of around 20 people. They are a genuinely nice bunch of people that get on well and have a laugh together. Pre-covid they’d have work nights out together and hopefully it won’t be too long before that can happen again!
The role is full time, hours 9AM – 5.30PM but the business are flexible and open to part time hours too. At the moment, the offices are closed until September at the earliest so you would begin the role working from home, once they reopen you will be able to choose either a mixture of working from home and the office or full time in the office – genuinely, whatever you would prefer (remember what I said about a flexible employer!)
The reason the role has become available is due to a promotion, so there are progression opportunities too – if you want them!
As the Payroll Administrator you will be supporting the payroll function for around 500+ employees across the UK as well as the US and Canada.
Within the role you will collate and enter all payroll changes on both a monthly and twice-monthly basis for the UK and the US & Canada. You will gather the documentation and provide all of the required information to the team that process the payroll. You will also produce monthly reports for the month end as well as preparing the payroll journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
This is a busy role, so you will never be twiddling your thumbs! You will be fully trained and get the full support of the Payroll Manager.
In order to be considered for the position you will have experience within a Payroll position and have the ability to work across different systems/ databases with the utmost attention to detail.
