Not often you hear that is it?
Well here it is, a job that’s busy enough that you’re not twiddling your thumbs, but genuinely won’t leave you feeling slammed. This role is more about offering the best service to each customer you deal with, not about handling high volumes of calls and emails.
Plus, a manager who would prefer for you to have time throughout the day to have a chat and a laugh with your colleagues, rather than having your nose to the grindstone.
You would join a longstanding business (over 20 years old!) which means stability and security for you. The staff go there and stay, you can’t say better for a company than that. I would say that’s because of how much they endeavour to create a relaxed environment that keeps their staff happy.
They have salary reviews, the first one being after just 6 months, meaning your salary won’t remain stagnant. And they provide full training and support, with the complete understanding that it will take a while for you to get up to speed – no expectations set too high!
You will offer technical support to the users of our clients’ software. Don’t worry – you don’t need to have any experience within this sort of role, just an ability to pick things up and offer an understanding ear!
The support requests come through both via email and over the phone. You will log the details of the request, to raise a ticket. You will then respond to tickets/ support requests either by offering a solution or escalating to Senior Support Analysts if you’re unable to answer the customers’ query yourself.
Once you are up to speed (following a long training process), you will be able to investigate and deal with requests yourself. Before that point, you will have the backing of a lovely, supportive team who are there to answer any questions you have, at all times.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have office-based customer service experience. Alongside that, you will need to have the ability to pick up technical information. There is no expectation that you will have any experience within a technical support position, but of course, you will need to have the desire to learn!
